Retail Digital Signage & LED Display Solutions
The requirement
A retail space has a few seconds to hold a shopper's attention. Printed posters go out of date the day a promotion changes, and staff cannot explain every product to every visitor. Digital signage lets a showroom, mall unit, store or cafe change its message by the hour, show menus and offers clearly, and give customers information without waiting for an assistant.
The screen itself is only part of the job. Brightness against shop-front glare, mounting, content scheduling and the sound in the space all decide whether the installation looks professional or distracting. Universal AV Solutions supplies and installs complete retail display systems across Delhi NCR and pan-India.
Recommended AV approach
We match the display type to where customers actually look:
- Commercial signage displays for menu boards, promotions and product information inside the store. These are built for long daily operating hours, unlike consumer televisions.
- Touch kiosks where customers browse catalogues, check availability or place an order themselves.
- LED video walls for storefronts, atriums and feature walls where a large, seamless image is needed. LED can be sized to the architecture instead of to a standard panel size.
- Background audio that fills the space evenly at a comfortable level, so the brand experience is more than what is on the screen.
Content is managed centrally, so a new campaign can be scheduled across many screens at once instead of being loaded on each device.
Products and technologies we use
For in-store signage we supply the Samsung QMC series, the Samsung QHC series and the Samsung QBC-E series smart signage display. All three are 4K commercial displays; which one suits you depends on screen size, operating hours and how the screens will be managed.
For self-service, see the touch display kiosk. For large-format visuals we offer indoor LED video walls and outdoor LED video walls for storefronts, along with flexible and COB options for curved features and close viewing. LED wall pricing is by quotation, since size and pixel pitch are specific to each site.
For sound, browse our speakers and audio amplifiers.
Typical applications
- Brand showrooms and experience centres
- Shopping malls and retail atriums
- Apparel, electronics and lifestyle stores
- Quick-service restaurants and cafes with digital menu boards
- Reception, queue and promotion screens in service outlets
Installation, integration and support
Our process runs from consultation and site survey through system design, supply, installation, integration, commissioning, testing and user training, followed by after-sales support and AMC options. In retail this includes wall or ceiling mounting, hidden cabling, network and power provision, media player setup and audio zoning. We work with your shop-fitting and interior teams so the equipment blends into the design. See our professional installation services for more.
Project considerations
- Brightness and glare: screens near windows or under strong lighting need higher brightness than those in a controlled interior. Tell us the ambient conditions.
- Screen size and viewing distance: text on a menu board must be readable from the queue, not only from the counter.
- Orientation and mounting: portrait or landscape, wall, ceiling or floor stand, and the load the structure can carry.
- Content and scheduling: decide who updates content, how often, and whether screens need different playlists by time of day or location.
- Network and power: screens that update remotely need a reliable connection and accessible power points.
- Audio zones: keep music at a level that suits each area and avoid competing sound from adjacent screens.
- Training and maintenance: staff should know how to change content and who to call when a screen fails.

Frequently asked questions
Can we update content on many screens from one place?
Yes. Signage is normally managed centrally, so playlists and schedules can be pushed to multiple screens. We confirm the content workflow during design.
When should we choose LED instead of a signage display?
Choose LED when you need a very large or unusual shape, or a bright image for a storefront or atrium. For menus and in-store product information, a commercial signage display is usually the practical option.
Can screens run all day in a store?
Commercial signage displays are designed for extended operating hours. We advise on suitable models and ventilation for your opening hours.
Do you provide the whole installation?
Yes. We supply the equipment and handle mounting, cabling, setup, testing and staff training.
