Huddle room with a wall display, video conferencing camera and table speakerphone

Small rooms · 2 to 6 people

Huddle Room AV Solutions

Compact collaboration rooms that anyone can start in seconds. We standardise huddle rooms around a video bar, a correctly sized display and one-touch join, then deploy the same design across every floor.

The business problem

The most-used rooms get the least attention

Huddle rooms are booked back to back, used without IT support and often equipped with whatever display was left over. The result is laptop cameras pointed at the ceiling, laptop microphones picking up the air conditioning and meetings that start late.

Because there are many of them, small problems multiply. A good huddle room design is simple, repeatable and inexpensive to support.

Common huddle room issues

  • No camera, or a laptop camera at the wrong angle
  • Poor audio in small, reflective rooms
  • Displays too small to read shared content
  • Loose HDMI cables and missing adapters
  • Every room works differently
  • No way to see which rooms need attention

Solution overview

Three proven huddle room designs

We pick one design per room type and repeat it, so users and IT only ever learn one way of working.

BYOD VIDEO BAR

Laptop plus USB video bar

A single USB-C cable connects the laptop to an all-in-one camera, microphone and speaker bar. Works with any platform. Lowest cost per room.

ANDROID ROOM BAR

Native Teams, Zoom or Meet bar

The video bar runs the meeting platform itself with a touch console. One-touch join from the room calendar and central management.

INTERACTIVE HUDDLE

All-in-one meeting board

An interactive display with built-in camera and microphones for teams that whiteboard as much as they meet.

System architecture

A deliberately simple signal path

FAQ

Huddle room AV questions

What is a huddle room?
A huddle room is a small meeting space for roughly two to six people, used for short, informal meetings and video calls. Because they are small and numerous, they need simple, reliable AV that anyone can use.
Is a video bar enough for a huddle room?
In most huddle rooms, yes. A good video bar combines a wide-angle camera, microphones and a speaker that cover a small room well. Larger or acoustically difficult rooms may need an extra microphone or acoustic treatment.
What display size does a huddle room need?
Most huddle rooms use a 55 to 75 inch display. We size it from the viewing distance of the furthest seat so shared content remains readable.
Should huddle rooms be BYOD or native Teams or Zoom rooms?
BYOD rooms cost less and work with any platform. Native rooms start meetings with one touch and can be managed centrally. Many offices use native bars for internal rooms and BYOD for client-facing rooms.
Can you equip many huddle rooms at once?
Yes. We finalise one standard design, test it in a pilot room and then install in batches, floor by floor or office by office, with consistent documentation.
