Logitech MeetUp 2 All-in-One Video Conferencing Bar

Logitech MeetUp 2 is an all-in-one USB video conferencing bar for huddle rooms and small meeting rooms. It combines a 4K camera, a six-microphone array and a built-in speaker in one unit, with Logitech RightSight 2 video and RightSound 2 audio features, so a small room can run Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet calls without separate camera, microphone and speaker hardware. It can be deployed with a room computer (PC mode) or used in BYOD mode with a laptop.

Video and Audio

The camera uses a 4K sensor with 1080p display resolution, a 120° diagonal field of view (113° horizontal, 80° vertical) and 4x HD digital zoom. Digital pan and tilt are ±48° and ±32° at 4x zoom. RightSight 2 offers four ways to frame the room: Group View frames the people in the room, Grid View crops in on individual participants, Speaker View crops in on the active speaker while keeping the room in context, and Camera Zone lets you define the area in frame so that distractions, such as people behind glass walls, can be excluded. Logitech states that its AI features can gain capabilities over time through regular updates.

Six omnidirectional digital MEMS microphones form five adaptive acoustic beams with pickup of up to 7 m (23 ft). RightSound 2 provides voice equalization to balance loud and soft voices at different distances, AI noise suppression for sounds such as fans and keyboard clicks, and AI echo suppression for hard-surfaced rooms. The built-in speaker uses a 55 mm driver in a bass-reflex enclosure with 8 W rated power.

Deployment and Compatibility

In PC mode, MeetUp 2 connects over USB to an in-room computer. In BYOD mode, a laptop connects directly to the unit. The standard BYOD setup uses two cables, and Logitech states that single-cable BYOD is possible with a cable that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode or with the optional Logitech Active USB Cable. The Active USB Cable is an optional accessory, sold separately, and is not included with MeetUp 2. Logitech does not list an appliance mode for MeetUp 2; for appliance deployments it points to the Logitech Rally Bar Huddle.

Logitech lists MeetUp 2 as working with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet. Supported computers are Windows 10 and higher and the two most recent macOS versions. Connectivity and Management

Interfaces are one HDMI input, one HDMI output, one USB-C port (USB 3.1), 10/100/1G Ethernet, Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth Low Energy, with a Kensington security slot. Logitech Sync is a cloud-based app for monitoring room status, deploying updates and changing settings across Logitech video collaboration devices. Logitech states that some Sync features, such as insights, remote UI and proactive alerts, require an Essential or Select license.

Mounting and Installation Flexibility

The multi-mount combines table, wall and display mounting in one form factor, a threaded insert allows tripod use, and a cable management and retention system keeps cabling tidy. Logitech's datasheet lists the following package contents: the MeetUp 2 unit with multi-function mount, a power supply with regional-specific plugs, a 3 m (9.8 ft) USB-C to USB-C 2.0 cable, 2 wall anchors and 2 screws, and a quick start guide printed on the box.
