Product information

Bosch LA3-VARI-BH is a high-frequency vari-directional array loudspeaker from Bosch for large, reverberant spaces where ordinary loudspeakers struggle with speech clarity. Digitally controlled directivity lets the sound be focused on the listening area, which suits stations, terminals and conference halls.

Key features

Digitally controlled directivity: beam steering aims the sound at the audience and reduces energy reflected off walls and ceilings.
Speech intelligibility: aimed at reducing background reverberation so announcements stay clear in difficult acoustics.
Configuration software: room dimensions are entered to generate suitable settings.
Coaxial drivers: optimised for music reproduction.
Modular design: array installations can be built from a base unit and extension units such as the LA3-VARI-E.
Frequency response: 130 Hz to 18 kHz (plus or minus 3 dB).
Long slim enclosure: roughly 2.4 m in length, in a gray aluminium enclosure with white aluminium grille.
Fewer mounting points: one array can cover a long listening area, so fewer loudspeakers are needed.

Ideal for

Airports, railway stations, conference centres, atriums, places of worship and other large reverberant spaces where clear speech matters.
