Poly Studio V72 is a premium USB video conferencing bar designed for large meeting rooms. It combines dual 4K cameras, Poly DirectorAI camera technology, integrated microphones and dual-speaker audio in one bar, and connects to a PC or Mac over USB, which makes it a professional fit for PC-based and BYOD conferencing spaces.
Dual 4K cameras for large rooms
Two 20 MP cameras deliver 4K UHD video, with a wide 120° horizontal view for the whole room and a narrower 70° view for tighter shots. Poly DirectorAI decides what the far end sees, using speaker framing, people framing and group framing as the meeting changes. Zoom is digital (7.3x), so it is best thought of as smart framing within the room rather than optical reach. An integrated electronic privacy shutter covers the cameras when needed.
Audio built for big spaces
Poly NoiseBlockAI and Acoustic Fence help keep distracting noise out of the call, while built-in MEMS and second-order microphones pick up voices across a large table. The two-way speaker system pairs mid speakers with tweeters and bass ports for fuller, clearer sound at the far end of the room. If you need more microphone coverage, Poly offers an optional expansion microphone, sold separately.
USB deployment for BYOD and PC-based rooms
Studio V72 works as a USB peripheral: connect the room PC or a visiting laptop through USB Type-C and use your preferred conferencing application. It is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom, and Poly Lens gives IT teams remote management. HP also lists the Poly Studio E360 and Studio Table Microphone as supported peripherals, subject to availability and sold separately. Note that HDMI-out is for provisioning only on this model, and its HDMI-in and audio line ports are not supported, so plan displays and room audio with that in mind.
