Product information
The Kiloview E3 is a compact 4K multi-interface video encoder for professional streaming and IP video workflows. It accepts HDMI, 3G-SDI and USB sources, encodes them with H.264 or H.265/HEVC, and delivers them over Ethernet using NDI HX, SRT, RTMP and other protocols. It suits broadcast, education, house of worship, sports and corporate AV teams that need one small, flexible encoder rather than a different box for each source.
Multi-interface video encoding
The E3 offers an HDMI 1.4b input with loop-out (up to 3840x2160p30), a 3G-SDI input with loop-out (up to 1080p60) and a USB video input (up to 1080p60). That makes it easy to connect a professional SDI camera, an HDMI camera or computer, or a USB source, and keep a local monitor fed through the loop-out connections. Interlaced sources are accepted and encoded as progressive video.
H.264 and H.265
Choose H.264 for wide compatibility, or H.265/HEVC when bandwidth matters. Kiloview states that H.265 can deliver comparable quality at up to 50% lower bitrate than H.264, which helps on limited uplinks and busy networks. M-JPEG is also listed in the specifications.
NDI and IP streaming
For IP production, the E3 supports NDI HX2 and NDI HX3. For delivery it offers SRT, RTMP/RTMPS, RTSP, HLS, WHIP and TS over UDP, and Kiloview specifies up to eight simultaneous streams. Plan network capacity carefully for multi-destination streaming, and our team can help you size it.
Multi-source production
The E3 can switch seamlessly between inputs, encode HDMI and SDI together, or combine them in picture-in-picture (PIP) or picture-by-picture (PBP) layouts. Rotation, mirroring, cropping and on-screen text, image or logo overlays are available, including portrait-mode output for mobile-first streaming.
